Soiled clothes, muddy water: After floods, Kerala battles slush and debris

Incessant rain that began in Kerala on August 8 killed hundreds of people, destroyed thousands of homes, and washed away roads and bridges, leading to an estimated loss of at least Rs 2,000 crore. There has been no rain in the past three days but the flood water is yet to recede from many places.
